Gan bian shredded beef 干煸牛肉丝

Prep: 15 minutes  Cook: 15 minutes  Makes: 1-2 serving


1 lb shredded beef

1 cup shredded celery

2/3 shredded red sweet pepper

1 tablespoon chopped green onion

1 teaspoon finely shredded ginger

1 tablespoon chopped red chilli

4 tablespoons cooking oil

1/3 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon essence of chicken(options)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cooking wine

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons white sesame


1. Heat oil in a wok/skillet over low-high heat, put chopped red chilli cook until color begin to turn dark, remove from wok, set aside.

2. Turn the heat to high, bring shredded beef in the wok, cook and stir about 3 minutes until the sauce is fully absorbed. add ginger and season with cooking wine, soy sauce.

3. Add celery, green onion, red sweet pepper, cooked chili, cook and stir about 1 minutes. add salt and essence of chicken, mix well, then turn off the heat.

4. Serve with a few drops of sesame oil and white sesame.


  • The chilli shouldn’t be over cooked, removed when the color was a bit dark;
  • Add vegetables in the beef after the sauce in the beef was totally absorbs;
  • Vegetable shouldn’t be over cooked, when bring vegetable in the beef, quick cook and stir in 1 minute, then turn off heat immediately.





调料:4汤匙油,1/3茶匙盐,1/2茶匙鸡精,2 汤匙酱油,1汤匙料酒,1茶匙香油,1汤匙白芝麻。


1. 用小火将油烧热,放入辣椒段儿炒到微微变色,盛出备用;

2. 转大火,放入牛肉煸炒大约3分钟,或直到从牛肉中炒出来的水分炒干为止。加入姜丝,料酒,酱油。

3. 加入芹菜丝,葱段,红甜椒,和炒过的辣椒段儿,翻炒1分钟,加盐,鸡精调下味,马上关火。

4. 点几滴香油,拌匀。装盘并撒上白芝麻。


  • 辣椒不要炒糊,用小火炒到微微变色马上盛出来;
  • 牛肉炒时会出水来一些水份,等将水份炒干后再放配菜;
  • 放入配菜后不要炒过头了,一分钟左右断生后马上要关火。

  2. You make it look so simple. I love Chinese food, but since I didn’t grow up eating it a lot, I’m not as familiar with the ingredients and ways to prepare things. I can’t wait to explore your site more.
